Dr Niranjan Hiranandani

Chairman

A Doctorate in Management and a Bachelor in Commerce from Mumbai University and F.C.A. from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, he is the Managing Director and Founder of Hiranandani Group of Companies. He is often referred to as 'Builder Extraordinaire' or 'the Real Estate Czar' for his vision, extraordinary brilliance and qualities as a builder, perfectionist attitude, and an untiring zest for excellence.

He started his career with a textile weaving unit, which eventually shut down owing to various disruptions. Following this, he took the risk of a lifetime by foraying into the real estate sector which at that time was not considered a 'clean' industry. Despite initial setbacks and dreaming of a vision that no one even dared to think of, he eventually redefined the real estate industry through astonishing township projects that are credited with for beautifying skylines in Powai and Thane with Panvel, Chennai, Ahmedabad and Pune set to follow.

Mr. Darshan Hiranandani

Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer

An MBA (specialising in Entrepreneurship and Finance) and B.S. (specialising in Management Information System) from Rochester Institute of Technology, New York, he is the Managing Director & Chief Operating Officer of the Nidar Group. He is responsible for taking forward the legacy of the Group from domestic to international arena. He heads the Group’s real estate business in Dubai (U.A.E.) and energy business in India and abroad. A composed individual with a focussed vision, he successfully delivered his first landmark project, ‘23 Marina’ in Dubai bringing international acclaim to the Group for constructing the world’s tallest residential tower at that time.

He has been instrumental in the Group’s venture into the energy business that boasts of state-of-the-art, environment-friendly and futuristic technologies for meeting the country’s power requirements and contributing to its economic growth. He has been actively involved in the Group’s SEZ development programmes and played a crucial role in implementation of hightechnology international standards in the Hiranandani Hospital, Powai (Mumbai) that won the Ramakrishna Bajaj Award for the best hospital in India. He is also a winner of Asia Pacific Quality Organization Global Performance Excellence Best in Class Award - 2016.

Mr. N. Shridhar

Group Director and Chief Investment & Strategy Officer

He is a post-graduate in Management from Mumbai University, an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (London), Chartered Global Management Accountants (CGMA) and the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India.

He is currently Group Director and Chief of Investment & Strategy at Hiranandani Group, and Managing Director of Pegasus FinInvest Advisory Pvt Ltd. With a keen understanding and deep knowledge of key industries, market changes and market needs, he has, in leadership roles, directed the strategy and business model of companies towards profitable growth that successfully facilitate this transition to realise maximum business value. Given his Business, Operations as well as Finance Leadership roles across different industry verticals like FMCG, Financial Services, Real Estate and Hospitality and in organisations like Asian Paints; Unilever Group at Ponds India Ltd; Coca-Cola and Britannia, his experience spans across various facets of Operations, Strategy & Finance including M&A, raising capital, taking companies public, and enhancing effectiveness and operational efficiencies.
